Welcome To My Casa Bella

My Casa Bella- means-my beautiful home- but it can mean so many other things. How you make your home a home. The sounds of children or pets playing. The aroma of scones in the oven or a lilac candle burning. The flowers blooming in your garden. The home grown vegetables ready to be picked. Grandma's quilt at the foot of the bed. A fire to curl up to with a good book. Or just a family spending time together with love, laughter and a good time.

CONTAGIOUS!!! WHAT??!!

Well, I went to the Doctor yesterday,
the cough was
not going away, my headaches were
not budging
so they got me in and I went,
I was afraid
but I had to go!
There's nothing better than when
your Doctor
walks into the room and sits down
and hears
you cough and says,
"I'll be right back, I need to get a mask"
MASK!
OK,
now I am really
freaking out!!
He comes in and
asks questions like, where does it
hurt, how long,
what have you been feeling,
etc. etc. etc.
"Have you gone anywhere lately?"
Yes, I say, to TN.
"HMMMM, your lungs are clear,
which is good,
but...."
BUT, BUT WHAT?
"....You have a virus, and you are
very contagious...
I'll give you an inhaler and some
cough medicine,
take those, if in a week you're not
better or if you feel
anything strange
in your chest,
CALL US RIGHT AWAY!"
A VIRUS!
So, I'm home, stuck in the house,
avoiding people,
trying to feel better.
So far so good, I am feeling
a little better
today.
So I'll do some crafts.
Watch some
movies.
DH, brought me these as a
surprise!
What a wonderful husband I
have, I know.
Oh well, at least now I know what
it is.
I called my mom, I told her I thought
I was dying.
She laughs, in case you haven't
noticed I'm a
little
dramatic,
just a little.....hehehe.
But dad called me this morning,
wanted to make
sure I was OK.
How sweet!

On a different note now,
I know, its not
always
about me....sheesh,
My dear friend
over at
is having a giveaway,
she too went
for some tests,
but they came
back
real
good
for
her,
I'm so happy, Monika!
So go over to her
blog
and
join in the giveaway.
Monika is
so talented, she
embroiders
beautiful things.
I'll also will link the giveaway on my
sidebar as well.
Enjoy your day!

  2. How are you feeling ? I hope much better !
Being sick is no fun, but if you get to rest a bit and catch up with some
    reading/crafting , then it shouldn't be that bad ;-).
How was the chicken soup ??? That's the only thing I crave when I'm sick, it does help a lot.
Thanks for participating on the give away :-).
