My Casa Bella

COME IN THE EVENING, OR COME IN THE MORNING;

COME WHEN YOU'RE LOOK'D FOR,

OR COME WITHOUT WARNING.

KISSES AND WELCOME YOU'LL FIND BEFORE YOU,

AND THE OFTENER YOU COME HERE

THE MORE I'LL ADORE YOU!

-Thomas Osbourne Davis

Welcome To My Casa Bella

My Casa Bella- means-my beautiful home- but it can mean so many other things. How you make your home a home. The sounds of children or pets playing. The aroma of scones in the oven or a lilac candle burning. The flowers blooming in your garden. The home grown vegetables ready to be picked. Grandma's quilt at the foot of the bed. A fire to curl up to with a good book. Or just a family spending time together with love, laughter and a good time.

My Life Has Changed......

Does your life feel or look like this
sometimes?
Or, maybe all the time.....LOL,
trying to balance
everything, wishing you were
multiple
people, or that you could be
Superwomen?
Well, right now, blogging and
sewing has
taken a back seat for the
moment.
Not a bad thing, because
although
I've been incredibly busy
it's a
very good busy, and I am
very happy!
My health has improved
tremendously
since my surgery, I am
shocked!
That surgery has been the
best thing
I've done for myself!!!!!
I have
a life now and I'm cramming
it all in.
So many goals have been set
and they're
slowly being accomplished
and
right now I'm in a good place.
Friends
and
Family
have noticed a difference in me
and that
makes me so happy.
Thought
I'd share this with you. Hope
you're happy
as well, and if you're not
know that
only you can change that,
of course,
with the help of God!
And
learn to be balanced and
to take
one
day
at
a
time!

  2. Well, I certainly understand! Its been weeks since I have had time to sew or blog or even visit my favorite blogs.
I don't have to tell you how busy this season is, but this past week we also had our CO visit and the Sp.Assem.Day is coming up fast!

I am so glad that the surgery has worked out well for you and that you are feeling good and energetic! Enjoy the beautiful weather that spring is bringing!

  6. Arlene, so glad you are doing so well! It sounds like the surgery was well worth it.

We have our Special Assembly Day this Sunday so no Thursday meeting....just Family Worship Night and then more knitting right now. I have to get all my projects that are gifts finished before the 1st as we are leaving for Kansas to take care of some things with my 83 yo Mom.
The following weekend we start a big remodel project on our Hall. The roofing will be first so DH is glad he's on vacation and will have the 7, 8 & 9th off for the demolition. It'll be a busy summer for us but always good when we have plenty to do in the work of the Lord!
Take care and keep in touch.
