Cabin Fever Craft Show...

Well the weekend has come and

gone, it was

a beautiful weekend here in

the NE,

first time in a long time.

We also had

the Craft Show that I was

trying to prepare

for.

I took some pictures of

our table

When we did this show last

year,

it turned out great. But I

really think

weather had something to do

with it.

Last year, it rained on/off

it was windy,

and yet the place was packed.

This year,

sun was shining, temp's were

in the low 50's

and the crowd was so very small.

So, I wasn't

happy this year. And what is funny

is I didn't

want to do it this year, mainly

because of

just getting over my surgery

and not

having the stamina to do anything

to prepare

for it. But that's ok, I still

had a good

time and we were invited to do

a couple of shows

this summer.

But now I can take it easy.

Today is

just beautiful out and I think

I may go

outside for a little bit

and walk

around the yard. I saw some

tulips

trying to peak out, YEA!!

Spring Craft Show

So we did our Spring Show last weekend. Sadly, it wasn't the best show we ever did. The crowd was very slim. What were we thinking!!! It's spring, people are landscaping, planting their flowers and their veggies. That's what I would of been doing if I were home then. I never even thought about it. I just got excited about doing a show. We do well at craft shows and I thought, great another one to do and sell!!! So from now on, no more shows in mid spring or early summer. People are vacationing in the summer time as well. So note to self "do shows that are in the fall time and late winter/early spring".

But as you can see we did have a pretty booth. I love all the colors it's just cheerful.

We're looking forward to the next one. Which is in July, if we choose to do that one. Otherwise there's one in August as well. We'll see.

Women To Women Event

Last night my friend Valerie and I set up a table at an event in Greencastle, PA called Women to Women, for those women entrepreneurs out there. There were so many there and we had such a good turn out. The event was two hours only, and I sold three handbags...yea....so I was happy. Valerie makes beautiful paper products, I'll have to take pictures of them and post them. She uses old vintage cards and makes gift tags, bookmarks, and plaques with them. They're so pretty. So, we had a good time. Look forward to the next event.
